We have all had to work harder on our wellbeing lately. For our patients and their carers, the contact with the Hospice and range of sessions on offer has helped to manage this. Harlington Hospice run a programme of wellbeing events to support them including tai chi, creative art groups, and groups for dementia support.

One carer that took part in our tai chi class said, “These sessions are wonderful and like a ‘gym buddy’ who comes and knocks on your door to get you to your exercise class! They enable you to be part of a group of friendly faces whilst having some tutor-led session tailored to your specific needs.”

The wellbeing service is a partnership between Michael Sobell Hospice and Harlington Hospice. As part of this free service, we are providing a number of online events for patients, carers and the wider community. The money raised from The Hospice Lottery Partnership helps to fund these sessions and the technology needed to deliver them.

All our services are free and available for people living in the London Borough of Hillingdon and surrounding areas.
