A very surprised Mr Charles Pickett, from Princes Risborough was delighted to receive the call to tell him he was our latest Rollover Winner, receiving the top prize of £10,000!
Mr Pickett has been a player in The Hospice Lottery for over two years and joined when one of our door-to-door lottery promoters was working in the area visiting people at home.
When asked why he chose to play the weekly lottery, Mr Pickett recognising the wonderful work that our partner charities do said: “It’s nice to do something for someone else.”
Mr Pickett plans on spending some of the money on home improvements, adding “it makes a change to treat myself,” as well as treating his family and making a very generous donation from his winnings to the partner charities.
