We are delighted to introduce our new Chair, Darren Franklin. Darren has had a varied career with experience in wide-ranging roles in Sales, Recruitment, People Development, Contract Management and Higher Education. He is a knowledgeable Board Member serving as a Trustee on national charities for the last 20 years.
Darren has a degree in Business Studies, an MBA from Henley Business School and a Professional Certificate in Executive Coaching. He is currently studying for his Doctorate, looking at the barriers and motivations of ethnic minorities to Trustee Board positions in UK non-profit organisations.
When asked how he felt about his new role Darren expressed his delight with: “I am passionate about helping others reach their full potential. This is a wonderful opportunity to join The Hospice Lottery Partnership as Chair, supporting them and our partner charities. I am looking forward to working with the team.”
