This year’s Summer Superdraw Raffle has once again proven to be a success, not just for our lucky winner but also for our partner charities. Through the enthusiastic participation of our community, we have raised a wonderful £13,130 in ticket sales and donations. This achievement is a testament to the generosity and support of our players, whose contributions make a significant difference.
Our lovely £2,000 winner, Kerry Tarvit, from Princes Risborough, who once worked for Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity and still supports local charities, couldn’t believe her luck. Just 20 minutes before receiving the winning call, she had just been given the all-clear from a health scare. Reflecting on the moment, she said, “I felt something was shining down on me that morning.”
Kerry’s joy was infectious, reminding us of the excitement and happiness our lottery brings. The funds raised through the Summer Superdraw Raffle will go a long way in supporting our partner charities, helping them continue their essential work throughout their local communities. The impact of these contributions cannot be overstated, as they help fund vital services supporting those in need of care.
