“Well, I say... I’ve never won anything before!”
We couldn’t be more delighted to announce that Mr. A. R. Lonsbrough is the lucky winner of our November 2024 Bonus Draw, receiving a fantastic prize of £5,000!
When we called to share the exciting news, Mr. Lonsbrough was momentarily speechless. After a pause, he laughed, saying, “Well, I say… I’ve never won anything before!” His surprise was matched only by his wife’s, who was absolutely overjoyed by the unexpected windfall.
Mr. Lonsbrough, a retired police officer, has always been committed to making his community a safer, better place. Now, in retirement, he and his wife continue their dedication through various charitable initiatives. Supporting the lottery holds special significance for them; Mr. Lonsbrough’s mother received end-of-life care through Michael Sobell Hospice Charity and Harlington Hospice, care that allowed their family precious, peaceful moments together. Through their contributions, the Lonsbroughs hope to help provide that same compassionate support to other families in need.
With Christmas just around the corner, Mr. and Mrs. Lonsbrough are especially thrilled to be able to share their good fortune with those they love most. They plan to treat their children and grandchildren to an extra-special festive season this year. “We’re just so grateful,” Mrs. Lonsbrough said with a smile. “This will help us make memories with the grandkids that we’ll cherish forever.”
