Summer Superdraw Winner receiving cheque

The winner of the top prize in our Summer Superdraw, Mrs Champniss from Leighton Buzzard, was delighted to hear the news that she had won £2,000 after buying her Superdraw tickets, and including a generous donation in memory of her mum who had ovarian cancer, so that she could give something back to the hospice that helped her.

Mrs Champniss praised the care and support that her mum received from The Hospice of St Francis in Berkhamsted, as well as providing several courses that Mrs Champniss attended, including learning how to give her mum a foot massage and breathing techniques for calmness. “They were so supportive – always on the end of the line if we needed help or had any questions.” The hospice also provided Mrs Champniss with bereavement support after her mum died.

When asked what she was going to do with her prize winnings, she said, “During the last few months I’ve really missed seeing all my friends and going out. So when all this is over, I would like to go to Croatia – it’s such a beautiful place.”

Congratulations on being this year’s Summer Superdraw Winner Mrs Champniss!
